I found the creative medium in this article fascinating. There are a lot of things people are trying to do to held the poor and illiterate. Using the web to help the illiterate by using pointers etc on a cell phone seems extremely advantageous although i think it will make mobile phone usage much more complicated.

This articles discusses how the integrity of websites can be made obvious to its users. This will help people differentiate from rumors and facts. This has been issue through out time however, the internet just speeds up the process. A recent incident is the speculation that the LHC at CERN would create a black hole and end life as we know it this of course was a rumor however, people did not know enough about the project resulting, in protests against the project. By labeling and rating the integrity of different websites, research will be ever so much more efficient due to the fact that the users of the specific website would know whether they should believe in it or not.

The following article has following ethical issues in it: Reliability, Equality of Access, Security, Privacy..

The reliability issue is here because in the article it states that...there needs to be new systems that would give websites a label for trustworthiness..I really think it should some kind of brand above a certain site where we know everything is safe and can be trusted upon.

Equality of Access since the WWW is accessed by everyone!! So it concerns everyone who uses the internet. Everyone has universal access to the WWW.

The Security & Privacy issue is also concerned here because of when we talk of the WWW, it means security for the computers you use and for the user and Privacy to the personal data of people who uses the Internet.

The WWW is a big community and I think we should all be aware of sites and other things when we go into the WWW.

The abstract mentions giving people who can't even read or write access to the web. This shows that with time the world is moving to a whole new era where even such people who can't even write down their own names are going to be able to access the web. This highlights the development of the human race. If such people are given access to the web educational benefits might be acheived. They also mention that false rumours are being posted on the web. For this they are increasing "web security" in a way that they want to mention which sites contain what material. This will increase security and reliability.

I really liked this article because it talked about interesting things about how we could seperate rumors from real science because the web is usually used to spread un-needed information. This article also includes that the web foundation will also explore ways to make the web more mobile-phone friendly.

It's really dangerous to spread false information throught a world wide system as the internet.

When i read this article i realized how dangerous this thing is.

the article also talks about the attempts to reach the internet to other parts in the world.
I was shocked when i read that only 20% of the world can access to the internet.
Also the article talks about the attempts to develope moblie-phones
to be able to access to the world wide web and this is a huge advantage sicnce the moblie phones are much easire to use and more affordable since it's cheaper than PC and Laptops.

The world Wide Web has indeed been a very efficient way of spreading information, both rumors and true information. Using the LHC to minimize the spread of rumors and flag useful and trustworthy websites will be an upgrade to making the World Wide Web a safer place. For example, people posted rumors on the internet pertaining to the switching on of the LHC. they said that if it is switched on it will create a black-hole which will destroy earth. This is an example and a reason why the trustworthiness of a website should be made known to the readers.

In today's world, it is very important to have the ability to differenciate between trustworthy and untrustworthy websites because there are many sources in the world wide web that could be false. Thus this causes wrong information to be displayed on the net. As a result, it can have an enormous negative impact in the business world as it would bring up issues such as financial scams and many others. Investors would want sources that they can fully trust to invest in big amount of money. Therefore, ratings on websites would have to be enforced to inform viewers about the level of bias or wrong information contained. This way, more users would want to utilize internet as their reference. Hence, it would bring growth for communication sector as they would be more reliable to users. Also, accessing internet through phones can update the latest information for third world countries in order to prevent them from misleading due to rumors on the world wide web.

The internet is very important in today's world and the advances bieng made to it. What I found most important is accesilibilty. Bieng able to access the internet from a mobile phone is very useful since it is one of the best portable electronic devices. Right now, people can have access to the internet through thier mobile phones but it's no where near as good as a PC since using applications such as flash player aren't availiable and the time it takes to open a website is quite longer.

This article converses about the severance between rumors and real science. This issue seems to be sufficient and significant enough to the affect of our society. In today's world the most given place that spread information, news, jobs and other kinds of global opportunities is the website, whether it's true or false. Another thing this article has mentioned is the development of mobile-phones, since they are less reasonably prices than devices such as laptops, PC, etc. In addition, the same functions of the laptops goes for the mobile-phones which is a significant change that has happened globally.

This Article talks about the integrity of Sites on the web. where people spread false information and Rumors. clearly the internet has been a very helpfull Source of Information to many people in our Days. but the Question is how will people be able to see the Difference between facts and flase Information ?
the Idea is to make a System to show if sites are Trustworthy or not. but the problem is Equality to those who visit the Web.

While reading the article i was very interested about the topic that was discussed. I also think that these days WWW are not very trusted. It was also stated that these major problems affect the community that were are around. The way people get information from other people is through new technologies even though its true or false. No one is able to change those disadvantages that cant be changed.

Filtering the internet, and separating factual information from those which are fictual provide a large improvment in the quality of the information gathered online. This act put put forward by The Foundation will address and improve issues regarding the reliability of information as well as address integrity issues. Filtering will enable us to spend time productively and ease research methods. This has been a common problem over the years with many online information being unreliable. Another issue this Foundation plans on addressing is globalization and quality of access as they try to introduce internet usage to physically challenged people, and people in far corners of the world.

This article talks about the way the web has been used to spread disinformation, and how important it is to seperate real science from the rumours that people spread.
The Foundation will brand sites that has found to be completely trustworthy and reliable sources of information. They will also look at concerns and problems that the web has become less democratic, and its use influenced too much by large corporations and vested interests.

this article discusses the ethical issue of reliabilty and privacy. where this article discusses how information on the world wide web spreads easily and the information is not reliable. this affects the society as people may be reading and believing things that are not true. the second ethical issue is equality of access were creative medium is trying to get internet to spread widely in countries and it will benefit people in poorer countries

This article is discussing how internet sites are not all reliable. In the article it mentions how sites should start letting users know how true and accrute the information on the site is. The reason for this is because things on the internet like rumors can spread extremely quickly all over the world. This causes a major problem of reliability with internets. By having websites let users know the accuracy of the informtion on their sites the reliability of the internet will improve drasticly

This articles addresses the issue of privacy and reliability because nowadays the information is not really reliable because the information is not being spread easily. It also helps people in third world countries because it think it is good that poor people are able to use internet, this refers also to equality of access. This affects society because people will start using internet even more and probably because there are going to be more users then the internet will slow down, which will affect companies that are relaying on internet and communications.

The world wide web has expanded in the last few years. Many people are prone to false claims. these false claims can quickly spread as a romur and damage many reputations of companies. the other issue is the quality of access to introduce and expand the WWW to people who are not able to acces them. these society are suffering from provety. Accessing the internet may educate them and also connect them with other internet users around the globe.

the interent has been an revultionsry invention in the world of technology. nowadays the interent iis used as gossip and to spread fictional facts. the articles main concern is to discuss the ethical issue af relaibility and p[rivacy. this artticle shows us just how fast news and facts travel fast in the world wide web but at the same time this information is not reliable. this effects people because what they are reading maybe untrue. by seperating the true information and fictional information this will improve the information online. such an example is when CERN fired the LHC, many people thought that it will create black holes and the world will blow up and everyone will die/ this information is untrue and because information is passed on people can easy alter it.

The world wide web is a very important and accessible system. In current society people have been abusing their privelage's of using the world wide web. This problem faces the issue of data integrity were people are posting any information they like, predominantly rumors and false information like some information in wikipedia. Another impact on society is authenticity of information, were people steal information and posting it in another place.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee's solution is a very good solution, and that it is to rate websites trutworthyness.

internet sites arent all reliable; it discusses the ethical issue of privacy. "On the web the thinking of cults can spread very rapidly and suddenly a cult which was 12 people who had some deep personal issues suddenly find a formula which is very believable," Therefore to re-group and send a certain message to a group in society a blog is created or a group is made and information spreads within hours. Therefore no one is safe and nothing is private once information is posted on the web, u can be sure that hundreds if not thousands of people will come across it.
Alongside this role it will aim to make it easier for people to get online. Currently only 20% of the world's population have access to the web this will benefit a large number of people in the population to keep in touch, with the wrest of the world.
