This is a very interesting article because merging an electrical company with a software company has hardly been done because two of them are associated with different fields. Also, figuring out ways to reduce pollution via electronics can bring new inventions and technologies to the market. This is because due to the huge concerns over the environment, users will try their best to utilize green energy. And what is a better way to do that by purchasing products that are environmentally friendly, and this is what General Electric is trying to do with Google. Furthermore, this can alter the society's point of view towards global warming. It can create a new generation that are aware of these issues. Thus, it will create a chain reaction around the world for both large corporations and the population. Both benefit from each other; companies make profit from green energy because users are concern about the environment. Hence it changes the direction of the business world and society.
This article talks about Google and GE developing a power grid that uses clean energy. This is very important as fuel is getting really expensive and creating global warming at a critical rate. What Google and GE are doing now is the future of how energy is going to be generated. Another advantage is that by using wind mills and solar panels, an energy source isn't bieng depleted from earth, so it will never run out and create free energy all the time.

This in my Point of view is a very big step and it is really the first of a kind. where two companies with different fields working raising concern to the enviorment. this might also effect the busniss work. so this deal might end up bieng as a dramatic change although it seems such as a simple deal. because this deal is raising a major issue in the world society of enviorment and that as the key factor.
While reading this article i found out that google has grouped up with a new technology to develop a smarter electric power grid. They both want to make the renewable sources easy to find and to access. Also both companies try to convince the people in the community especially the politicians, to have a policy for the changes that are happening in the use of energy. General electric is one the of the biggest company that uses the Wind power to provide energy for the people. Internet and energy if you combine them you would be able to buy stuff off the grid. This is where google come in to using energy, you would use google and buy you energy form there and you would choose which one you would like,that has some disadvantages and advantage to the community.
This article is very interesting because it gives us another solution on saving energy. It uses clean energy. The reason why i enjoyed this article, because fuel nowadays causes alot of problems. Not only financial problems, but it destroys the environment and causes golbal warming. Google and GE talks about how the energy is going to be developed and much cleaner. Windmills and energy sources will provide us energy anytime.
The article states a new way of trying to save energy. One of the issues in a lot of countries today is that the fuel/oil prices are very high. With what Google & GE are doing, they are trying to help save energy with the use of windmills and solar panels. One of the issue here is equality of access...alot of people can access this new energy,mostly in the US and probably in Europe, but how about the other parts of the world, the Middle East wouldn't be a problem since it's rich in its oil sources but how about the Asian parts of the world? Another issue is policies and standard, would the US government go along with this plan of theirs? Overall, I think it's a very good plan and idea, but what worries me is the other countries that might now benefit from it.

Even though that Google has never been associated with the fight against global warming, they are willing to help stop the struggle against global warming. This article seems strange at the beginning since Google is more of internet based company which would not in most cases concern itself with global warming. The companies emphasize using wind power, geothermal energy and solar power, which are great substitutes to the fossil fuels normally used. They also talk about plug in cars which will also save a lot of fuel and actually gas prices won't bother people anymore. It is necessary for the world to convert to these greenener sources of power as soon as possible so that they don't have to rely on the fossil fuels which are likely to run out soon. It is nice to know that companies like Google and GE are working togeter to pressurize the current government to change to alternate sources of power. Other companies should move forward and do the same.
The promoting and use of clean energy by two of the most powerful business in today's time will, in my opinion, affect the running of other major businesses. This concept will become more widely used, affecting our environment a as whole. Using more renewable energy will make businesses more efficient and alter the rate of depletion of non renewable sources such as petroleum (The prices of petroleum could drop down due to this), coal (this will perhaps reduce pollution) etc.
Finding a new technology to decrease the pollution will have a huge effect in terms of use of technology by either huge companies, or by individuals. It will also increase the chances of preventing global worming.
However, this step won't be so easy, it will require lots of work and lots of money that both companies, Google and GE will have to offer in order for this project to success.
i think that this is a very good idea because both companies specialize in different fields. it might actually bring about the invention of something new which might help prevent the effects of global warming taking place. Making products that are environmentally friendly is a very good way to prevent the effects of global warming from happening too quickly. Bot companies will benefit from the joining greatly because they will make great propfit form it.
Google never ceases to amaze us. They come up with a new thing everyday, but this certain deal with GE is very interesting as they want to make renewable energy more accessible and useful. It is very important for companies worldwide to change into these natural sources of power as soon as possible so that they don't have to depend a lot on fossil fuels which are likely to run out! There are a lot of green freaks around the world who will think this is a good idea and will get off the back of companies not renewing energy and stuff like that.
