As we approach the 21st century, ID thefts should be prosecuted within the same level of other crimes such as robbery and murder because it really is a very serious issue that we have to take into consideration. However, victims of ID thefts should also show some corporation between credit card companies in order to prevent themselves from disasters. My opinion truly, that there should be departments within the national security where financial thefts are taken at the same level of murder because it can also prevent investors to invest in that particular country as a result of fears in ID thefts.

Throughout reading this article, i highlighted the main concept of what ID thefts really is; It occurs in robbery, murder, or any such. The main concept that the article is trying to imply is robberies can occur whenever or wherever. However the best method of reducing this issue of ID theft is to spare awareness to the people, by alerting them in making their accounts or password or any such more private and personal to them only.

I never thought about identity thefts. I heard about it but never really taking it seriously. Reading the article, I guess this goes to show that we should really take care of our identity. Never giving out personal information to other people. Identity theft to technology. Surfing the net, we must take thing seriously that we should only download things form trusted sites, and in making our password it should be something complicated that people won't be able to easily guess. We must be alert with identity thefts.

After reading this article, it has opened my eyes to a few things i was not very aware of. I was not aware of how identity theft has been a common thing. Now that i know it has made me more alerted on the things you need to do so that your identity will not get stolen and what happens if your identity does get stolen. In my opinion this is a very interesting article and people should be more aware of who they give personal information to, especially on the internet.

ID thefts are a very serious issues that need to be dealt with severely. In my opinion this crime should be taken more seriously. The amount of damage that it can cause is astonishing. It is also very hard to restore your identity. People should be made more aware about the ways in which this happens such as by credit cards and the internet.

I never actually took identity theft seriously as a major problem. But after reading this article I can say now that this is a huge worldwide dilemma that we must be aware of.
the big difference between identity steeling and the normal real life crime is that identity thieves are hard to locate or to track.
Though it's not hard to avoid it as it's hard to solve it. So the simplest way to avoid it is to alert and to take care of your identities, passwords, and secret, special and important information.
I also think that the higher authorities should take serious actions against identity steeling.

As technology grows in size and complexity, the more internet crimes will occur and ID theft can easily be done through technology as well. This is mainly due to the excess of information of others on the internet. My opinion is that ID theft, and other internet crimes will never stop growing, however, the only way to prevent them from affecting us is by being alert and aware of the risks that come with technology and the internet.

Ekene.
Measures to prevent identity theft will be developed as we advance in technology. As the article says victims of identity theft are usually affected in all aspects of their life; financial, marital and other aspects. victims of identity theft should make sure they know who they are dealing with and guard their identity and password very safely. They should also try to cooperate with companies like the credit account companies who need cooperation from the owners of credit cards in order to pevent such cases.

Identity theft is getting more and more common nowadays in result of new technology, hackers and poor security. This matter should be taken up by security departments or even the government to ensure their peoples safety and privacy.
Identity theft is quite a serious matter and should have an equal consequence to those of murder and stealing - its like breaking the law.
This can affect innocent people in everyday life, it is hard to catch the theft and devastating for those who have had their identities taken away from them. this also causes financial problems and accessibility to prviate documents.
personally, i suggest for security in high places of identity theft to increase and for customers to keep their property such as ID's, credit cards and master cards close to them at all times.

We must be aware of the fact that identity theft is a serious issue worldwide. When identities are stolen, it is difficult to find the thieves so this is one of the major problems. The internet has become something that people use in their daily lives for many different activities. As the internet grows, the more crimes take place but that should also mean that certain measures are taken in order to prevent identity theft. Many websites require people to provide personal identifiers (Social Security number, driver’s license number, credit card number, etc). There are many techniques for obtaining personal information and these include infiltration of organizations that store personal information, browsing social networks and stealing identification cards. In my opinion, the main problem that is addressed in this article is security and the impact that it has on the society. Phishing is one of the most widely publicized methods of personal identity theft so before giving a website all your personal information, make sure that the website is a legitimate website that can be trusted. In the future people will have to take care of everything, even their trash so that the risk of identity theft is reduced.

The IT issues are involved are security and privacy. , the fact that someone can access someone's else personal information is an issue of privacy. security is the protection of hardware, software, machines and networks from unauthorized access, and Privacy is the ability of individuals and groups to determine for themselves when, how and to what extent information about themselves is shared with others. this is exactly what is happening with ID theft.
this can also have a great impact on the society where people would be scared to keep personal information thinking that someone would steal it.
In the future this problem can be solved, for example by having identity machines or scanners so that only one person can have access to this information. for example when purchasing an item, people would use this process so that ID theft would not occur, eg. biometrics and facial recignition.

This article gives a clear indication describing the predicaments that can arise with identity theft. It is a complicated issue in which thousands of people are affected each year, many of them not being able to fully fix the damage thats been made because it has affected them so gravely. Due to the fact that this issue deals with authenticity and privacy abuse, victims find it very difficult to recover and identify the problems made within their bank accounts, etc. To prevent ID theft, the only thing that can really be done is to find a better system in which the robbers can not identify as the victim. This article suggests not keeping important cards or social security in your wallets. This issue not only impacts society interms of authenticity, privacy, and security, but leaves a long lasting negative effect on the victim.

Identity thefts are very common in the world of technology. There are many cases that people's personal information has been hacked into or stolen which is very dangerous. This article shows us how to deal with identity thefts and make us less easier targets to this horrible problem. When a person signs up for a website, or a blog or etc, they should keep in mind that the information they are giving is not 100% safe. When making a password, one should keep in mind that this password should not be easily guessed because that will increase the chances of their identities being stolen.

Seeing as though identity theft is increasing dramatically, there should be greater laws to prevent it from happening. This will either stop the crime all together or it will at least bring justice to those who have been robbed. Security is highly breeched by this type of crime and the consequences should be very grave, because they cause a lot of trouble to those who've been robbed. Government committees should be assigned to prevent such crimes and prosecute those who did it. ID theft effects society as a whole because it threatens the security and safety of the entire society, as well as cause damages that have to be paid by the government causing tax rates to increase.

Over the past years, Identity theft has drastically increased.
The authenticity of each individuals identity has now become extremly questionable and unsecure.
Identity theft has had a huge impact on society as many cases have resulted in innocent individuals suffering from mental problems, losing credit, or even ending up in jail for a crime they did not commit.
Identity theft is also extremly time-consuming and stressful, as it is difficult to regain your identity once it has been stolen. The crime also makes most victims feel vulnerable and lose trust in specific people, the Internet, etc.
A possible solution to this problem could be informing the society of how serious and dangerous identity theft has become, and educate them on ways in which this could be prevented.

Nowadays, identity theft is increasingly affecting society financially. Victims of this crime face serious emotional issues such as uncertainty and lack of trust in people. The article refers to fraud which involves attaining benefits by pretending to be someone else. This type of crime is a prime example of authenticity frauds in society.

The crime has been enhanced by the fast developing cyber world where unseen internet users can access private identity info of consumers, for example. The only way out of this negative effect of technology is to continue reissuing new credentials to affected users after confirming their real identities.

Nowadays with the e-mail and credit card being filled with money and very important information, people are more exposed to ID theft. Security is the ethical issue most convenient. Feeling safe when people are purchasing in your good name is not something people are fond of. The e-mail address, credit cards, visa etc need to be changed in a daily faces to be safe at these tough times.

There are four major types of Identity theft:
a) Financial identity theft (using another's identity to obtain goods and services)
b) criminal identity theft (posing as another when apprehended for a crime)
c) identity cloning (using another's information to assume his or her identity in daily life)
d) business/commercial identity theft (using another's business name to obtain credit)

Identity theft is a crime in which someone obtains important data of personal information, such as Social Security or driver's license numbers, in order to impersonate someone else. The information can be used to obtain credit, merchandise, and services in the name of the victim. In addition to running up debt, an imposter might provide false identification to police, creating a criminal record.
We can prevent identity theft by regularly checking our credit reports, ask for follow ups with our bills, destroy unsolicited credit applications, and protect ourselves by not giving out any personal information in response to unsolicited e-mails.
