The use of Interner and wireless technology will be the catalyst that would drive Nepal forward into the 21st century world. As the use of it grows, younger generations would be more educated and expose to the outside world regarding culture and traditions. Therefore, it will generally have an enormous impact on the society living within Nepal. As a result, many technologies such as telecomunications would improve and thus, more individuals would then have the access to better communication between family and friends. Furthermore, businesses would then increase due to the use of internet or file sharing.

Well, you know, the internet has become a necessity in everyone's lives these days. It has become one of our daily activities that we need to have. However, not everyone has internet in less developed countries. Thus, this creates something known as the global digital divide. This is basically a divide between people who have computers and internet against people who don't. However, seeing this article makes me feel more relaxed that this divide is decreasing, since Nepal, which is a developing country, is gaining access to internet and thus it is helping the country to connect with the world and bringing it up more and more to become like one of the developed countries.

The internet has become a 'need' not a 'want' in todays society. Many developing countries can't afford to have the internet and/or geographic locations can prevent that connection. It is really inspiring to see that the efforts of one school teacher helped his village gain access to the internet.

Internet today is very important in our society as it a vital way communication and setting up the network in Nepal made a huge impact on their society. The internet connection will help Nepal advance from a developing country. Another effect of the internet is how Pun used it to actually recieve help from others on how to build a sattelite. This shows how advanced the internet has become.

This can have a better communication around the world, and it can develop Nepal.

The use of the internet and wireless technology would serve a great deal for the development of this Nepali village so it can become part of the wireless world network. This would also serve for the best to the childrens' education, this is becuase they will have access to open sources and this would help them gain a better education by having access to all the sources on the internet. This development will not just serve for the best of the children in the school, but to other local Nepalis in the village, where they would benefit from the developments of telecommunication, where they would be able to communicate at a much easier and cheaper way, and this is vital since this village seems to be from the 3rd world status. This will also serve people that are trying to do business, it may not be businesses in the sense of major co-operations,but locals may use this to help sell their natural resources such as crops etc.

This article addresses the issue of equality of access and globalization. In Nepal, students were not able to access the internet when they recieved laptops from students in Australia and the people of Nepal were not able to connect to the internet due to insufficient phone lines, until a Nepali teacher created internet access.
Now, students in Nepal can benefit from the educational tools available online to students all around the world. The Nepali teacher reached out to people around the world through radio channels for a cheap way to connect to the internet.

Constructing an internet connection in the remote village helps improve communication with neighboring villages in Nepal. This helps aid accessability issues and improves communciation issues. Improving such areas as explained in the article helps local inhabitants conduct trades as well as resolve medical issues, meaning that this act of improving accessability even improves business oppurtunities as well as health. Stakeholders in this case, such as inhabitants who wish to contact relatives in other villages, will greatly benefit and even save financialy. Overall the imapct on society in this specific case does not only improve accessability options but also business and health issues.

Nowadays the internet as become vital in our everyday lives. However there are many people who do not have access to the internet, and their lives are very different to ours. In Nepal, a lot of places to this day still don't have internet, however some places do, and by having the internet has helped them. Their everyday lives, such as their way of income hasn't changed, but it has made ther lives easier and allowed to be able to communicate with friends and relatives much easier than before. The development of techonology in Nepal will truly help the country become in synch with the rest of the world.

the article emphasis on the equality of access the internet provide. in poor countries it can be difficult to acquire internet access. Internet access is a luxury that can improve the lifes of the villagers, it can improve upon the eduction of younger generations. however there are different issues that rise with internet access in these areas. these people are poor and unable to purchase laptops. this issue may be solved in the future when these 100 dollar laptops are for sale.

This article addresses issues such as globalization and equality of access. In nepal this new internet access will let Nepal to develop even more and educate its future generations. This can really affect society because communication will develop even more allowing better access by kids and teenagers. It is also a cheaper way to connect with other people around the world. This Article suggests the future of technology and internet as a hole. Future internet connecions will not consist of any wires directly being plugged on computers noare will they use wireless routers which are also connected to a LAN line. Internet will follow the same means as a mobile phone, whic is to connect directly to a satelite. And that is why in the future all conections will be via satelite, hence everyone in the world could have a connection.
This adresses the issue of education where students in developing countries such as nepal could have the means to connect to the internet via satelite.

Internet and wireless technology in the underdeveloped country of Nepal will be the start of new opportunities for the country and it's people. It will have an immense impact on society in Nepal, aiding it to become a developing country. It can be used to help educate the people and push the country forwards economically. Internet is very important in today's society because it is an important method of communication. This article addresses the issue of equality of access and globalization.

The technology that makes this possible is wireless internet and because Nepal is a very poor country they're piggy backing the wireless from country to country which is an effective way; yet there is no high banned width.
they don't need high security because there arent to many people that want to hack in the internet in Nepal. This case is to help young children grow up with internet and to get educated about the outside world. Be informed of the growing issues and the opportunities out there which will make them work harder/ inspire to education; to study abroad or aim for a better life. Which will improve the countries economy.

The internet today has become a very valuable part of our lives. It has become a need for most people. This case is to help young children grow up with internet and to get educated about the outside world, more importantly in poor countries like Nepal. As the use of it grows, younger generations would be more educated and expose to the outside world regarding culture and traditions. By giving this acces to Nepal, it would help the country head towards the right direction in terms of evolving into the modern world. This is very important to keep at least most countries around the world on par with each other when it comes to technology.

Entering the wireless network into Nepal is a step towards development. The wirless network is going to educate public on everything which is the key to success. People have to pay less money for communicating because they can do that via online instead of using a mobile phone. Health is also tremendously supported by the internet since people can call the doctors from their computer becuase transportation in Nepal is not very good.

this article talks about a wireless network that has been made in a village in nepal when it was almost impossible. this shows that technology is improving rapidly these days, this also shows that people all around the world even in developing countries need the internet today. This however can solve many communication problems that can occur. people are also able to be more familiar with technology because it is now avaliable

Less developed countries like Nepal in this case need all the help they can get. And we see in this article how wireless network can help a multiple of villages. Whenever there was a sick person he could reach the doctor without actually going into the city. Although the way Mr. Pun got the wireless was illegally, so there might be reliability issues with the countries officials.

The use of internet and wireless technology in Nepal is a very good idea. It will help Nepal develop and allow it to catch up with the pace of the other developing countries. Accessability will increase in this country and communication will be benefited since they will be in contact with the outside world. The stakeholders invovled in this issue are inhabitants whom want to be in contact with other people they know in different countries.
The use of contacting through the internet is much cheaper than through phones, therefore more people will use it.

The internet has become a necessity in a lot of people’s lives. Even though it may not be a necessity, it allows people to communicate with people in different villages and abroad. It also allows them to talk to doctors online without having to go to the village in order to get advice. In less developed countries, many people do not have access to the internet and the divide between people who have access to computers and people who do not have computers is called the global digital divide. This article addresses the issue of equality of access and globalization.

Mr. Pun, a Nepali teacher, made it possible for people in small villages to gain access to the internet after they received computers from Australia. Even though it took a lot of time to set up the equipment necessary in order for internet to be able to reach these villages, Mr. Pun managed to set up a wireless network after talking to people who advised him what equipment is necessary in order to set up a connection. The small villages now have a telemedicine project, voice over IP phone calls and internet terminals which allow people to communicate to family, friends and other people in different villages or even abroad.

Internet is very important in today's society because it is a fast, easy and inexpensive method of communication. It also saves people in less developed countries from having to travel to another city in order to receive medical treatment or advice which they can now simply receive by talking to the doctors using the internet.

The stakeholders of this issue are the people in the small villages in Nepal, who are benefiting from this change in their village because it allows easy communication. The other stakeholders include the government who banned the import of wireless equipment which has a great impact on the people living in small villages where the connection to the internet is not established.

The use of a wireless software within a village in Napal is a good way of trying to develop their economy and educate their children. The Internet connection will allow children to develop their communicational skills and learn about events outside their village. The children will also be able to develop their independant learning skills. Through the education of their children, Nepal will be able to improve their economy in the future.
The stake holers concered with this are the users of the internet who will clearly benefit from it as it gives them a number of different education opprotunities.
The government is also part of the stake holders involved as the internet connection will have a drastic effect on their economy.

This article addresses the wireless technology which has been introduced to small villages of Nepal. The fact that such an opportunity was given is an enormous deal and people should understand the positive effect the accessibility to internet has on developping countries. Not only would it permit for easier means of communication within the country, but would increase educational opportunities for future generations, medicinal purposes as stated, and general global awareness which only the internet could allow for.

Mr.Pun lived in a village in Nepal and had an aim to connect them all together. he has accomplished this and the technology has not changed everyday life because they still have to work in fields and raise cattle.
''Seven years on, he has now wired up 42 villages with a total population of about 60,000 people.''
Beucase of the ability to have access to wireless networks within the village, it has made their communication life easier by helping them get intouch with the other villages, and with their family outside of the country, instead of going there, which takes time and difficulty. Also, if they need to ask for medical help, they dont need to go all the way to the city since they can communicate with them through the wireless in internet; this is convenient and more safe.
This is quite a break-through since Nepal was going through a hard time and imports of devices were banned which meant they had to import it and build the network illegaly.
The area of interaction is people and machines because of how it makes their life more convenient and help people un rural areas get intouch with the outside world.

This article discus the issues of equality of access and globalization. This is shown by the inability of children in Nepal to access the Internet with the laptops that were granted to them by Australians children. But that problem was solved when teachers in Nepal set Internet access within the schools. Students in Nepal now benefit from the various resources available for them by the data found in the Internet.

In Internet has become something grand in our everyday lives. It is now a part of our lives in general and some people do not think about the fact that there are those out there who do not have access to the Internet whatsoever. This article talks about how Nepal is developing and is now getting access to the Internet.

Internet today is a path to education, and education as everyone knows is what drives a nation towards the future. By giving access to children in school the use of the internet will benefit them in great ways suck as allowing them to research other culture and, other topics which were recently out of their grasps. The internet overall will benefit the villagers in many ways allowing the children to learn and grow from the limitless education available on the internet.

Many countries are developing now because of teachnology..look at India..If nepal moves hand in hand iwth technology, it would be taking after the footstep of what india has now. The ethical issue in this article is the equality of access, there is no reassurance that everyone will be able to access the Internet with only four computers. It would take a hard time for everyone to adjust as well. Another issue here is globalization, Nepal is so far behind and if they don't do anything about it, they won't catch up among developing countries like India. It great to know that people can get access to the Internet in remote areas in Nepal...

Internet now has become very important. It has become part of our daily lifestle, in almost all around the world. It made things so much easier over the past years, it is easier research and you can find whatever you want so much easier now. It also helps in connecting with others and for you to communicate with everyone. It is quite incredible how a school teacher influenced a whole village to gain access to the internet, and how life become so much easier and more amusing for them.

This article talks about how important the internet has become. In these days the internet is a need not a want anymore. The use of the internet grows. It helps us become more educated and it will educate the younger generations to gain more knowledge about the outside world. The internet has affected everyone greatly. One main affect is how it keeps us in touch with our family and friends

Dana Al Thani said...

In our world today people want and need the Internet, since it is a way to communicate and catch up with the world today. Countries that are still developing in todays society cannot necessarily afford this luxury, and many countries cannot get internet access due to geographical locations.

It is nice to know that villages are on the road of development with the help of technology. As people from Nepali villages can now access the internet, equality of access is highlighted. As the people are using the internet for various reasons like calling their doctors when they are ill; this shows the control IT has on the villages. As people from different villages can now communicate despite the geographic limitations, globalization and personal diversity is portrayed.

Saba Singh said...

The introduction of internet service in a remote village will definitely alter the lifestyle of the villagers. Access to the internet means that communication is better and hence several of the villagers can now get medical treatment done. This helps to marrow down the wide gap between people and machines and perhaps they will begin to trust technology. Businesses will also benefit from the widespread of internet use.

nowadays, internet is one of the most essentials of life, it became an everyday thing, that people use for everything, and i think it's our responsibility those who use internet, to help others around the world that have never used internet before, to be more familiar with it.

Ekene said...

The use of internet is now very common. Out of every 20 people you meet 19 if not all out of them would have access to the internet. As the use of technology diversifies and grows faster internet will be employed and people like Mr. pun and other villages will equally get access to the internet and be able to communicate with their family and friends freely.
