Cloud computing is basically Internet based development and use of computer technology. IT is a style of computing in which often changes and virtualizes resources that are provided as a service over the Internet. The 'cloud' in 'cloud computing' refers to the internet.
In relation to Wall Street using this concept to access their data relates to People and Machines because it is all about how people are using new technologies in order to make their life easier. However, this creates issues in Reliability and Equality of Access because although computers are a great privilege in everyone's life, computers are not 100% reliable because they could breakdown any second if something goes wrong. This would create big problems for stock brokers who need to keep up with every minor change in stocks, and so if this system breaks down, it could create big problems for stock brokers and shareholders.

Cloud computing is Internet based development and use of computer technology. It is a style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualised resources are provided as a service over the Internet. Users need not have knowledge of, expertise in, or control over the technology infrastructure "in the cloud" that supports them.

The definition of Cloud computing is the use of a 3rd party service to perform computing needs on a publicly accessable IP basis. The Cloud is a term with a long history in telephony, which has in the past decade, been adopted as a metaphor for internet based services, with a common depiction in network diagrams as a cloud outline.

The issue presented in this article is reliability many analysts and technology gurus both supporters and detractors are under heated argument about this issue. Many people are skeptical about cloud computing and its reliability or even the need for it. They're questioning the need for cloud computing because it is just a way for businessmen and proprietors to gain money from consumers while others argue the usefulness of this issue and how if you need a large database to save a new project you can save it on the internet on a cloud computer. The reliability of this issue is being questioned in this article people are still skeptical about this issue while others are hopeful that this is a good solution to the problem of memory.

Cloud Computing is certainly a new concept where large corporations and companies hire cloud providers to store information and databases. Although it can be accessed anywhere and more mobile as oppose to other methods, it certainly questions the issue of reliability and security. When a company stores its information, it is risking the privacy of that documents as it can be access anywhere and at anytime, which means that it can also be accessed by online criminals. This also relates to the question of reliability and to what extent can companies trust cloud providers to provide them with stored information at any given time as servers might encounter problems which ultimately cause the lost of trust between customers and providers. In terms of Wall street's case, the use of cloud computing is imperative in order to attract investors all over the world by increasing the equality of access through storing databases and records online where anyone can access or view from any part of the world. Then again, how reliable are the providers? Technical problems can influence customers to cease using cloud computing. The concept itself has had positive effect, but is it reliable enough to store classified information regarding the breach of interest by other companies?

Cloud computing is Internet "cloud" based development and use of computer technology "computing". Cloud computing comes into focus only when you think about what IT always needs: a way to increase capacity or add capabilities on the fly without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT's existing capabilities.

Cloud computing is at an early stage, with a motley crew of providers large and small delivering a slew of cloud-based services, from full-blown applications to storage services to spam filtering.

Cloud computing is a computing paradigm in which tasks are assigned to a combination of connections, software and services accessed over a network. This network of servers and connections is collectively known as "the cloud." Computing at the scale of the cloud allows users to access supercomputer-level power. Using a thin client or other access point, like an iPhone, BlackBerry or laptop, users can reach into the cloud for resources as they need them. For this reason, cloud computing has also been described as "on-demand computing."

Cloud computing is the use of multiple computers to create a system that can hold a large database called servers. Cloud computing is the term used for the service being offered throughout the internet for companies and private users to store a large database. Most importantly, it opened lots of opportunities for the public to store whatever type of data they need. As the service expands, more computers will use the service and eventually, computers will rely on it as Microsoft's plans for Windows Azure. It is a good strategy because it prevents users from piracy since everything is sent to Microsoft servers.

Cloud computing is the use of the internet, or a 3rd party to store information, the issue with cloud computing is reliability and security, due to the fact that cloud computing is available via the internet, it can be accessed remotely, which means it can be accessed by internet criminals if they are able to bypass the firewall. This also surfaces the issue of reliability, many times the internet has been damaged due to the cutting of large cables. Cloud computing however seems to be the future of technology as trends such as online stocks, and online sharing, this is basically the sharing of information over the internet, this is also the essence of web 2.0 and web 3.0. Overall the use of cloud computing brings many issues however, its seems to be where the future of technology is heading.

Cloud computing holds in any pay-per-use service and it will continue to extend any capabilities that the internet already has to offer.

Cloud computing is based computing.
data storage on the internet rings up the issue of reliablility. peoples personal information is out for everyone to see and this could be used maliciously by online hackers etc to spread viruses, hack without authorization, into important files and edit information there. Companies should follow the laws that protect peoples information on the internet such as not sending information to other people, only using it in relevant situations etc. the issue of equality of access and people and machines is also brought up here.

Cloud computing is THE INTERNET + THE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY combined together. It provides service over the Internet.

In the article, it is talking about how cloud computing is helping Wall Street with their databases and how gathering and obtaining information would be much more easier for stockbrokers to get it. The ethical issue here is the reliability of the technology that is used in Wall Street. We've heard of people hacking computers, where without proper anti-virus sofewares and firewalls installed in the Wall Street Server into their database, it would be easily hacked where private information may be leaked to other people.

In the article it states that: "Other cloud skeptics worry about security. But Courbois claims this is a bit of a red herring. "There are ways of securing data and then you can put it anywhere," he says, pointing out that if Nasdaq were to put proprietary data on S3, it would encrypt it first." Therefore concluding that another ethical issue is security and privacy where personal information may be taken from the server of Wall Street.

This is what I get. Cloud computing is like storing information over the internet. Therefore, security and reliability questions are raised. The files that are stored over the internet, will they be hindered? The people who use cloud computing would want to be able to trust the cloud computing. This is the trust between people and technology which needs to be built up. But does cloud computing allow that? How reliable is it? Are the files online secure? As far as Wall Street goes they are trying to use cloud computing positively. Which is a good thing.

cloud computing is basically using technology such as the internet to save large amounts of data in a shared area or space known as online servers where data is shared between specific people. this is an advantage for business since companies and employers can share information faster and easier, and also have better access to them. however, this still results in an issue, since computer are not really reliable. some of the data might be lost because of a computer breakdown. another issue is security, such severs can be hacked and information can be lost or manipulated by other people.

Cloud computing is simply the development of Computer and internet technology. It is used to publicly provide service to many people in general. Online Applications like Flickr and YouTube use cloud computing as their main platform. It is a very important tool in connecting people together.

Cloud computing is very interesting but it's not very interesting. Sure it can store a lot of information for free, but that's not what modern technology is about. We need to make profits if we're gonna make improvements.
