As we enter the 21st century, criminals have used many ways to communicate between each other and one of the most vital ways to tackle this problem is through phone tapping and the method has been heavily criticized by the public over the invasion of privacy and anonymity for telephone users. This is one of the reasons why Skype would not allow authorities to investigate the telephone records of its users. Although some might consider it as an invasion of privacy, it is important that the method of phone tapping be used including internet phones in order to improve security and retain all kinds of criminals. Encrypted phone calls might carry information such as the flow of druf traffciking and many others. Therefore, even though it's inappropriate for authorities to investigate phone calls made, it is vital towards solving crimes in the future as it is one of the most efficient ways to gain essential information regarding illegal activities.

The issue presented in this article is security, criminals are using and manipoulating technology to thier own advantage. They have found a way to communicate without worrying about the police tracking their signals or tappiong their phone calls. The other issue presented is of itellectual property because skype is refusing to reveal their encryption system to the authorities, which is their right. By doing so they're hindering the police departments investigation and at the same time they're protecting their software from potential hackers.

The article discussing Italian criminals using Skype as a mean of communication with other criminals brings up issues of Privacy and anonymity. Although the refusal of the company of Skype of revealing their encryption systems has been a really big advantage for all the Skype users in keeping their private identity, it has now created a problem for authorities in tracking down criminals that have abused this privilege of being able to communicate with other members of society for free, and used this great mean of communication to create more damage and chaos in the world.

Privacy is an issue that existed for a long time. The increase in communication services has allowed crime to advance to new methods and capabilities. But even though solutions are available, other issues emerge from those solutions such as privacy. One of the solutions for phones was wire tapping, which works by linking circuits together to route the audio signal from the call. As technology advanced to the internet, method of communication such as e-mails, live messengers, even reports that criminals were using online games to communicate to decrease suspension and relating to the article, internet phone calls. Programs for internet phone calls such as Skype is used by the criminals, and the company is refusing to release it's encryption codes to the police for privacy matters. The issue is the fact that the police could be listening to private conversations and that irritates the customers.

All of us have heard about or witnessed online theft or crimes. but this time the situation is kind of different where the criminals are using the internet to get away with thier crimes , out there in the real world, where phones and other sources of commnication are tapped by the police. Since Skype does not allow the police to investigate calls and records of calls. Yes , privacy is important but its important that phone tapping must be used on Skype and other Online calling systems in order to improve security and stop all the criminals out there.

Security is a vital issue in this article. Criminal use technology to communicate with each other without getting caught. The way in which they are capable of doing this is through encryption, police and the authorities are not able to figure out the secret codes and Skype is refusing to co-operate, because they want to give their users privacy. The encryption is allowing criminals to deal drugs, and prostitution without getting caught by the authorities, and therefore are able to manipulate the technology to their advantage.

There is an urgent need to deal with the issue raised in this article. The article can be related to the ethical issue of people and machines as people are misusing skype to take illegal actions such as drug traficking. As skype had made its encryptions invisible some action needs to be taken in order to record the calls made via skype. Although this reduces the privacy of the people using skype, this is a valid measure to increase security.

As the world heads to a more technological oriented society, crime moves along with it. This article refers to the use of Skype the wildly used online calling program. By using this program criminals make it difficult for authorities to track down the call due to the fact that Skype refuses to reveal their encryptions, and call history of its users, this brings up an ethical issue which is privacy, however, in order to insure security people would have to give up their privacy. Authorities currently use wire traps which are frowned upon however, it must be done in order to insure security.

The issue in this article is security and privacy. Given in the article that including Mr Berlusconi himself, have found to their embarrassment that details of their private telephone conversations have sometimes been leaked to newspapers. Which every human being are all entitled to have their privacy. One of the reason that Skype won't allow the authorities to give out their client's personal information is because it will be an invasion of their clients privacy which would also make their clients lose their trust within Skype.

Moving into the 21st century, we are faced with more challenges regarding personal security or privacy. Skype which is a very popular online calling program is now the target of fraud by criminals. The authorities cannot therefore track done the online criminals because of the encryption by Skype. For us to reduce crime online places like Skype, we have to give up our privacy which most people would most likely refuse

SKYPE is a program that helps people contact others around the world. first, your voice is input into the computer and digitized. then it is transferred through the internet to the person you are contacting. since they are on the internet they can be easily hacked into.

This article talks about how people are abusing the use of skypes. Some cirminals use skype to communicate with other criminals, to destroy our community. It is good for them because the police can not track or trace their calls. However if you are communicating through the web or by your mobile phone, you can easily be tracked. This ruins our world, becauase they could plan on destroying countries and no one could find out who they are.

The article talks about Skype (Pronunc. Skaay-pee)and tackles the issue of security. Criminals today have many ways to communicate between each other, and of course one of them is Skype. The way to stop this would be to tap skype calls and observe conversations more closely to see if anything fishy would be going on to prevent any criminals from doing what they do best.

The article raises the ethical issue of safety. The stakeholders involved are the users of Skype, the owners of Skype and the general public.

The use of Skype has not only made it easier for criminals to communicate, but cheaper too!! The use of Skype allows them to develop and devise plans at a fairly cheap and reasonable price; without any possibility of them being tracked.

Skype has the potential to increase large international crimes, such as human trafficking.

This article addresses the issue of privacy concerning the privacy pollicies Skype has. Skype is holding information from the authorities which could help catch criminals. Skype can not give the authorities the information however as it is against the contract of those who joinned the site.

Mass majority of people may believe that Skype should give the police the ability to decode their encryption system to ensure illegal activity is not taking place. However, even if the police were able to recieve that information, those using Skype for drug trafficking or prostitution rings will simply find another way of getting their job done. Therefore, although it may cause a lot of violations to give the police the ability to tap into all forms of communication, they will continue to gain control just as the ciminals will continue to find ways of completing their illegal work.
